Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood is reportedly planning to reunite with the band for a 2010 world tour.

Wood’s girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova, 20, reportedly let slip news of the tour to pals.

A source said to UK newspaper The Sun: “She’s not supposed to talk about it, things haven’t been finalised but she couldn’t resist telling a few friends.”

The band finished their last world tour in 2007 and it generated over £300 million.

Aerosmith tour promoters have announced a Winnipeg concert set for Friday night will now be delayed following Steven Tyler’s fall from a stage during a performance.

A spokesman for Winnipeg’s Paquin Entertainment said Steven was a “little banged up after falling from the stage.”

Tyler, 61, was airlifted to a local hospital where he received stitches. He was on stage in Sturgis, South Dakota, performing the song Love in an Elevator when he careened backward into a couple of fans.

Earlier the band had pledged to go on with the Winnipeg show, but organisers changed the plan to perform at the CanadInns Stadium with ZZ Top. The new date is yet to be announced. Other Canadian dates will go ahead as scheduled.

Aerosmith has cancelled a slew of their tour dates because their lead singer Steven Tyler has a busted leg. The iconic rock band has recently postponed shows in both Tampa and Ft. Lauderdale, bringing the total of cancelled dates to seven. Don’t worry though as the cancelled dates will eventually be rescheduled, according to Aerosmith’s official website. That’s assuming that he doesn’t get another injury or that someone else doesn’t get injured. Things like this happen when you get old. It should be expected. Maybe Steven should ask what Cher and Mick Jagger’s secrets are when it comes to their longevity in performing.

Morrissey is really not in the best of health. The singer has been force to cancel some more shows on doctor’s orders to “ensure a complete recuperation”. In addition to cancelling a show at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall, Morrissey also cancelled a previous engagement at London’s Royal Albert Hall as well as the world tour’s first four gigs in Florida. The singer has also already missed a television appearance. Fans and concertgoers are advised to hang onto their tickets as the dates may be rescheduled at a later time. I wonder what’s wrong with him. It can’t be just a simple illness to have him be out for so long.

Music legend Paul McCartney has reportedly given up any ideas of the world tour in 2009 that because he cannot bear to be parted from his 5 year-old daughter and feels she is too young to be left alone or to tour with him.

Paul is spending most of his time promoting his latest album ‘Electric Arguments ’ and was entertaining plans to set on a world tour but no sooner did he give this idea a thought his mind and heart turned towards thinking of his daughter and did not want to disturb her routine.

That is great thinking Paul. She needs you more than we do and you still have lots of money. You have toured and played all over the world for decades now Paul and may be it is time that your child took more of a center stage in your life and becomes your only priority.

Spend some more time with her and surely she will inspire you to write and compose or sing new vibrant and joyful songs. My son is 2.5 right now and seeing him do all the naughty things everyday is a real cool thing to do, believe me.
