That’s a point that may be arguable to some but it’s the truth for the Village People’s original resident police man. Victor Wills, who left the group way back in 1980, is in a San Diego hospital after having surgery on his vocal cords which developed nodules and made his voice go hoarse. Maybe that’s because of his coke use. He was popped back in 2006 for possession. Anyway, he had to cancel several European and Canadian concert dates on his solo tour because of the injury and the much needed recovery. I didn’t even know that he sang much less have a solo career and tour.

The Jonas Brothers performed at the Royal Dublin Society as the opening acts for Avril Lavigned in Dublin, Ireland on Friday. The band of brothers rocked the night away with who may arguably be the most hated Canadian singer and brought some music over to the other side of the pond. Nick, Kevin and Joe plan to open for Avril for her remaining shows in Europe and then head out for their own tour in Canada and the US. It must suck for Avril that her opening act is bigger and more loved than her. I bet a lot of people left after the Jonas Brothers got off the stage.

Celine Dion owns around 3,000 pairs of shoes. How jealous am I?
The ‘My Heart Will Go On’ singer confessed she just can’t stop buying footwear whenever she hits the shops. She said: ‘My hobbies are shopping and golfing. I own between two and three thousand pairs of shoes.’
The mother-of-one has also revealed she wants to have another baby with her manager husband Rene Angelil. Celine, who has a six-year-old son Rene-Charles, added: ‘To be a mother is my most important role - my most important work that I will ever have to do in my life. It’s my best reward.’
The Canadian star finished her five-year run in Las Vegas’ Caesars Palace performing her ‘A New Day’ extravaganza last December. She is currently on her ‘Taking Chances’ world tour, which will see her perform 120 shows.
