Following the success of Barack Obama and arrival of so-called CHANGE to America, the celebrities are finding new ways to celebrate.

The Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am has also released a fresh song on the occasion to mark the arrival of America’s first African-American President.

The video of the song “It’s a New Day” was released on November 5, 2008.

The rapper Will.i.am also played an active role in the campaign of Obama for the office of the President with his song “Yes We Can”.

Well-known celebrity Democrat supporters, such as Scarlett Johansson, Nicole Scherzinger, John Legend and Common, appeared in the black and white video.

About the new video Will.i.am told, “This was inspired by America. It’s about Obama winning, and really paying tribute to those people who are responsible for that happening, and that’s the American people.”

Friends have definitely played an important part in Obama’s historical victory.

Paula Abdul’s New Album

Yu just have to hand it to her, Paula Abdul is being one smart cookie about her return to the music biz. Paula’s plans for her first album in over a decade is quite clever and she’s hoping would be a guaranteed hit. Paula says that she’s already back in the studio working on around 5 of her #1 songs but that they will be interpreted by different producers like will.i.am. Her new album will also include 5 new songs. With will.i.am’s own music failing to sell, I’m doubtful about this album. Now if she could get Timbaland to produce for her then maybe there’s a bigger chance for her.
