Toni Braxton just can’t catch a break. On top of the singer’s health problems, lawsuits and financial woes, I doubt marital troubles would be the first thing she wants to be in the middle of. The former Las Vegas performer has separated from her husband of eight years, Keri Lewis, formerly of Mint Condition. I wonder what the reason for the split was. Maybe Keri just couldn’t take all of the problems that Toni seems to be tagging along with. Would a divorce be coming soon or is this just a test the waters type of thing? If a divorce does happen, I doubt Keri will be getting any money.

Toni Braxton has a broken heart – all according to Toni Braxton. And her insurance company doesn’t see the need to reimburse her for that. Lloyd’s of London is actually looking for damages from the singer after she cancelled her Las Vegas show back in 2006 due to a heart ailment. The problem isn’t so much that she cancelled but rather the information of a “pericarditis condition” was never disclosed on the insurance application but she still had the audacity to sue the company for not cutting her a piece after she cancelled. I think that the insurance company has a better case in their countersuit.

Toni Braxton thought that she was in the clear when she bought “non-appearance and cancellation insurance” from Lloyd’s of London insurance prior to her residence at Las Vegas’ Flamingo Hotel back in 2006. If you remember, the singer had to cancel her stage show at the hotel because of heart problems. Toni is now suing the insurance provider for an undisclosed amount as even though she purchased the right form of insurance, the company claimed that her heart problems were due to a pre-existing condition and refused to pay money to the hotel for their losses. Toni disagrees with their claims.

As I am a very much biased source of information, I would like to say that I am worried for Toni Braxton!
As y’all know, Toni’s heart problems forced the closing down of her Vegas stage show.
Now, Toni is revealing that she didn’t appear on the finale of Dancing With the Stars last month because she had benign tumor removed from her breast the week before the finale.
Shocking!
She also says that she already knew about the tumor before she appeared on the show, but she scheduled the surgery to remove it only after being eliminated in October.
She says, “Getting the boot on the show was actually a blessing in disguise for me. My grandmother on my dad’s side died of breast cancer, and I have aunts on both sides that have breast cancer.”
Wait she would actually risk getting breast cancer to win? Is DWTS really that important?
Thankfully, though, Braxton is doing much better now after surgery.
