Tom Petty at Halftime

The Super Bowl halftime show usually features some of the biggest acts of the year. It’s like a capitalist ploy to make sure a lot of people watch the show. More people means higher ratings and higher ratings means more money.
While Tom Petty is a big act, I highly doubt that he’s a big act in this generation. The NFL has picked the veteran rock star to perform at the halftime show next year. It’s a bit of an odd choice, no? Oh who am I kidding? It IS an odd choice. Maybe he can sneak in a duet with Stevie Nicks on ‘Free Fallin’.
