The Turtles and Ford are Unhappy Together

‘Happy Together’ is one song that will forever be deemed as annoying by every last American. Now, the tune has gotten someone so out of shape that they decided to sue. The company that owns the rights to the record claims that Ford did not have the right to use The Turtles’ 1967 hit in a commercial. The sinking car company had struck a deal to use the words and music from the song in Brazil and Argentina but the song owner insists that Ford violated its Turtle rights. The suit is seeking a bit more than $200,000 in damages.
