Former Spice Girls star Mel B has revealed she is planning to get pregnant later this year.

The 34-year-old star, who was recently revealed as the new host of US show Dance Your Ass Off, is married to film producer Stephen Belafonte and she has two daughters, Phoenix, 10, and Angel, two, from two previous relationships.

Mel said: “One reason we wanted to move house was because we want to extend the family. Plus, we wanted Phoenix to have more of a stable home life.

“Her school’s close by. She’s got friends in the neighbourhood who go there. It was really important to be not so isolated, but be more suburban and safe.

“But we definitely want to have kids at some point in 2010 or the beginning of 2011, because this year’s going to be pretty busy. Stephen has twins in his family and I would love twins.”

Looking forward to…

There’s been rumors going around about another Spice Girls reunion but it turns out that the UK girl band has been planning for a stage musical. The singers are looking for 5 unknown actresses to play each of them and bring their story of stardom to the stage in what’s being billed as a two hour pop extravaganza. Those actresses will be the luckiest girls for sure. Geri Halliwell is serving as the show’s producer while Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm and Victoria Beckham will all be involved in the project as well, including casting. With the Spice Girls’ fan base, the show will surely be a hit.

The remaining Spice Girls are reportedly planning to reunite for a full-scale comeback in the upcoming weeks. How will it be full-scale if Victoria Beckham isn’t part of it? Oh well, it’s not like Posh’s singing talents were ever really featured anyway. Victoria says that she doesn’t have the time or desire to join the group again but Mel B, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Mel C will be meeting up to discuss the reunion. And they’re not at all worried about not having the biggest star among them coming with. A source said “When Geri left the first time, she was arguably the band’s biggest star… If they coped without her, they are confident they can make it work without Posh.” Another source said that the girls plan to be on the road by this time next year.

There are all kinds of rumors going around after the Spice Girls, minus Victoria Beckham, were spotted together at dinner last week. The theory is that another reunion is in the works for the UK girl band and it is seemingly more accurate as time passes. Geri Halliwell recently confirmed that she and the rest of the singers were talking about future plans. Now, Mel B has gone on her Twitter to address the rumors saying “World cup! wow the press are soo silly no I am not getting the girls together for the world cup!!! We are getting together for other reasons!”

Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell has hinted that the band might get back together.

Ginger Spice has sparked rumours that the group might possibly reunite.

Geri, 37, told U.K. TV show This Morning: “We are friends first and foremost. Obviously a career and music evolved through that friendship I think. Whatever happens afterwards is a bonus.

“We always talk about creative plans. Right – now, I’ll be honest: We are gathering information about a possibility, but I don’t like to… when you are evolving a plan, you don’t want to share it with the world.”

The girls have reunited previously for the Return of the Spice Girls tour back in 2008.
