Lead Singer of Quiet Riot Found Dead

It’s a sad day for 80s Hair Band lovers.
The lead singer of Quiet Riot, a well known heavy metal band from the 1980s, was found dead over the weekend at his Las Vegas home. The cause of death is currently unknown.
It was about 5:20 p.m. on Sunday evening when Kevin DuBrow was found, says a spokeswoman for the Clark County Coroner’s Office. An autopsy is planned to find the cause of death.
DuBrown was a founding member of Quiet Riot. The group was formed in the mid-1970s and finally hit the bigtime with their Billboard chart topper “Metal Health” in 1983. “Cum on Feel the Noize” was a major hit for the band.
Over time, they have dealt with break-ups and membership changes, but they released a new album as recently as 2006. They continued random touring as well.
His bandmantes are taking the news hard. Frankie Banali issued the following statement on his website, “I can’t even find the words to say. Please respect my privace as I mourn the passing and honor the memory of my dearest friend, Kevin DuBrow.”
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Kevin DuBrow. You will be missed.
