Joey Fatone and his wife managed to come out unscathed from a rather devastating blow this New Year with a new addition to their family. The former NSYNC singer’s wife Kelly was rushed to the hospital on New Year’s Eve where doctors found her to be suffering with blood clots in her lungs and diagnosed her with a rare genetic condition called Methylen-Tetra-Hydro-Folate-Reductase. After a couple of days in intensive care, she was transferred to a ward. However, Kelly had fainting spells throughout the day this past Monday, so doctors induced her labor 2 weeks before she was due. The good news is that mama and baby Kloey Alexandra are now doing absolutely fine. Congratulations guys!

Former NSYNC singer JC Chasez is apparently having some money troubles. The state of Mississippi recently filed a lien against the America’s Best Dance Crew judge, accusing him of owing $206,965 in delinquent taxes. Ouch! Doesn’t Justin Timberlake do a lot of charity work? Maybe JC’s former boy band pall could help him out – or not. I guess it’s time for someone to get a real job. Good luck doing that in this crappy economy though. Maybe he could work for Justin as a gardener or something. I know! A caddy! Justin did recently turn one of his extra rooms into a golf course.

Eminem was able to get the coveted position of top selling artist of the decade by selling 32.2 million copies in overall album sales which can largely be attributed to the rapper’s albums ‘The Marshall Mathers LP’ which came out in 2000 and ‘The Eminem Show’ which came out in 2002. The Beatles took the top spot for best selling album of the decade with their hits compilation ‘1’ which sold 11.5 million, just clinching the title before NSYNC’s ‘No Strings Attached’ with 11.1 million. In a bit of a surprise, rapper Nelly also made it into the top 10 best selling albums with 2000’s ‘Country Grammar’ in 10th Place. Norah Jones’ debut album ‘Come Away with Me’ from 2002 took the 3rd place spot by selling 10.5 million.

Chris Kirkpartrick recently let it become known that an NSYNC reunion could be on the horizon. The singer said “You never know what the future holds. Anything could happen. We’re all just being ourselves for a little while. I think when the stars are aligned, the time is right, and all five of us have our heads on straight and know the direction we’re going as a band, it’ll eventually happen. If not, I know we’ll be best friends forever.” Why he thinks that Justin Timberlake would be stupid to get back together with his former band mates is beyond me. But then again, he has been making a lot of questionable career choices with not making any new music lately.

Does anyone remember LFO? If you don’t, consider yourself lucky. LFO was a trio boy band that caused a blip on the radar compared to the likes of NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys. Unfortunately for us, the band has decided to get back together for a one night only event at the Highline Ballroom in New York this July. I’m really sorry for the people in New York that have to be subjected to this. Tickets go on sale on May 28th. I highly recommend that you save your money and your sanity by staying away from this gig. Unless you get some sort of pleasure
