Head over to Tokio Hotel’s Myspace for an exclusive listen of their album Humanoid. The first single, “Automatic” is a metallic anthem with layered, buzzing guitars, stomping percussion, and a falsetto chorus made to be belted out by a stadium full of people while “World Behind My Wall” redefines the power ballad with depth, introspection, musical confidence and an irresistible sing-along chorus. The band tracked songs in Hamburg, Miami, and L.A. “Bill drove us all crazy, constantly coming in with things, even though the old songs weren’t finished yet,” says Tom, who’s fond of frequently ribbing his brother. “Apart from that, we just didn’t limit ourselves, and we used new instruments.”

The album does not hit stores until tomorrow, but the band is streaming all 12 tracks from the standard version until midnight. Like what you hear? Preorder the sci-fi themed release on iTunes now.

Mariah Carey has reportedly called off her second wedding to new husband Nick Cannon because she can’t get it funded. The ‘Dream Lover’ singer was desperate to have a lavish service for friends and family after tying the knot with rapper Nick in a secret Bahamas ceremony in April.

However, after discovering no magazines were interested in buying exclusive photographs which would have funded the day, Mariah is said to have axed her plans.

A source said: “The small wedding in the Bahamas was nice, but it was not Mariah’s style. The lady loves a spectacle. Mariah was willing to pay for the wedding, but the way she hoped to pay for the wedding was through the sale of photos. No one was interested.”

The 38-year-old singer and her 27-year-old spouse have been enjoying their first few months of marriage by spending their hard-earned cash on each other. Nick, who first met Mariah on the set of the video for her single ‘Touch My Body’, has been surprising the singer with expensive gifts.

A source said: “Nick went to a local Tiffany and Co., where he spent time choosing a gift for Mariah and put it in a regular paper bag so he could surprise her.”
