The official video for Michael Jackson’s posthumous single ‘This is It’ has been released recently. The music video was directed by Academy Award nominated film director Spike Lee. It’s basically a montage of the King of Pop’s hometown of Gary, Indiana, as well as footage of the iconic singer throughout the years. It’s definitely one that pulls at your heartstrings as it takes you on a trip down memory lane about Michael. I give props to Spike for doing such a simple but very memorable video. I couldn’t have asked for a better one from any other guy who says they can do much better.

As it was earlier reported, Andrew Lloyd Webber has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and luckily for him, they caught it early enough. The musical genius underwent surgery to remove his prostate a couple of weeks ago. However, the composer was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday night after developing a postoperative infection. A statement was posted on Andrew’s website, saying “Andrew has been re-admitted to hospital following his operation for prostate cancer. He has been advised that while the operation was entirely successful, he has developed a post-operative “chronic infection” which needs immediate treatment.” Get well soon!

The company that sells all things related to Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Guns N Roses, Led Zeppelin and Red Hot Chili Peppers is demanding millions from the businesses that are allegedly illegally raking in the cash. Bravado International Groups claims that it has the exclusive right to the merchandise of these music icons. They say that Dollar Days International, Alan Shrem and Kennedy-Shrem International are illegally using the names and likenesses of Michael, Jim Morrison and other musicians in the sale of shirts, watches, posters, play money and other things. Bravado wants $2 million for each violation.

The musician has recently been named a living legend at the Marshall Classic Rock Roll Awards. Iggy Pop apparently participated at the awards alongside others such as Slash, Ronnie Wood and Pete Townshend. Upon receiving his award, Iggy Pop said the following: “It’s been a long dinner, so I’m not gonna whip out my dick. Alright, you know, thank you to everybody who has strong feelings about music so that when you hear something you don’t like you wanna fucking kill somebody and when you hear something you like you wanna fuck everybody.” Quite the words for a so-called legend… plus, he might be getting a bit ahead of himself, legends are usually legends simply because there once was a time when they actually existed, but nobody remembers it. Or does that actually apply with Iggy Pop too?
