The latest old school celebrity to get his own reality show is MC Hammer whose show ‘Hammertime’ premiered last weekend. We’ll all be getting the inside scoop on his family and where his shiny pants have gone. But did you ever think that a reunion with the original white rapper Vanilla Ice would be going down? Hammer confirmed that the former rap star will make an appearance on the show saying “Well, get ready for a big reunion with me and Vanilla Ice that can’t be missed. We meet up, or Tweet up, in Utah and do a little somethin’ there.” Frankly, you can never give me enough reasons to want to watch this show.

Rapper MC Hammer has renewed his wedding vows after 23 years of marriage – during an episode of his new reality TV show.
The former baggy trouser-wearing hitmaker – real name Stanley Burrell – surprised his wife Stephanie by going down on one knee in his new series Hammertime.
To reaffirm their love, the pair wed a second time in a romantic ceremony to be shown in the next episode.
Hammertime, which premiered on Sunday night, follows the life of the couple and their six children during their day-to-day lives in the quiet community of Tracy, California.
In the first episode, viewers saw Hammer, 47, reminiscing about his glory days after finding a box of memorabilia hidden away in the back of a closet.
“A lot has changed since I wore those baggy pants but family is the only constant, they keep me going,” said the artist, who sold 50 million records in the 1980s and ’90s but then famously blew millions.
The reality show gives a glimpse into his life as a devoted husband, father and entrepreneur.
And it seems Hammer’s two daughters – A’Keiba, 21, and Sarah, 15 – could soon be following in his footsteps. The aspiring singers made their father proud at an open-mic night in Tracy.

With MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice coming out of whatever rock they’ve been hiding under to come together for a sort of comeback concert, someone thought that it was the right opportunity to get a comeback going. It’s being reported that a reality show is in the works for MC Hammer. The show is going to be called ‘Hammertime’. What the heck will they be packing in this one now? Are they going to follow him around as he tries to build his career from the grave up? I’m not even going to give this one a shot at getting picked up. If it does get picked up, I give it a maximum of three episodes.

Remember that time you were sitting with your friends and found yourself saying “Wouldn’t it be really cool if MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice staged a comeback concert in Utah?” Of course you don’t because I doubt anyone has ever thought that. Unfortunately, it’s happening. The 90s has-beens are headlining an event at the McKay Event Center in Orem, Utah. The gig will go down on February 27th and tickets range from $29.50 to $35. That’s pretty pricey if you ask me. But they need the money to pay their rents so I guess that’s fine. Mind you, Orem population is 90% white and often referred to as Family City USA.
