Out Magazine has compiled a list of the 100 Gayest Albums of All-Time for their latest issue. The magazine asked over 100 musicians, writers, actors, performance artists, critics and bloggers for help in determining who made the list. The top ten lists David Bowie’s ‘The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars’ as number 1, The Smiths’ self-titled album at number 2, Tracy Chapman and the Indigo Girls self-titled albums at number 3 and 4, Judy Garland’s ‘Judy at Carnegie Hall’ at number 5, The Smiths’ ‘The Queen is Dead’ at 6, Elton John’s ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’ at 7, Madonna’s ‘The Immaculate Collection’ at 8, Cyndi Lauper’s ‘She’s So Unusual’ at 9 and Antony and the Johnsons’ ‘I Am a Bird Now’ at 10. Talk about being a has-been. Macy Gray was once a chart-topping artist. If you’re asking yourself where she is right now, well, the ‘I Try’ singer is making ends meet by working as a DJ. The husky-voiced singer spun the turntables at Dolce nightclub in London on Thursday night. Is this what singer’s do when they run out of talent? Nick Cannon did it too though I can’t say he had any talent to begin with. I expected much more from Macy. I hope she can get her act together real soon and come out with a new record. How did she end up in London anyway?
