Given the rather high number of rumors regarding him staying away from the bottles together with his old pal and band mate, Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards recently came forward and tried to give some more insight as to how the battle is faring. This is what the Rolling Stone guitarist said: “Listen, the rumors of my sobriety are greatly exaggerated. And we’ll leave it at that.” That doesn’t sound too promising… what happened? Did that fine Scottish whiskey finally get the better of Keith Richards? And where is his brother in arms? He is wrestling with the other bottles no doubt as the battle rages on.

Hollywood heartthrob Johnny Depp is making a documentary – about Rolling Stones legend Keith Richards.
Depp, who is usually seen acting in front of the camera, will direct the new movie.
It will be his first time behind the camera since he directed Marlon Brando in The Brave back in 1997.
The actor and Richards are long-time pals and the guitar great even played Depp’s dad in the blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End.
Depp told contactmusic.com: “I’m very touched that Keith has agreed to show up in front of my cameras.”

Even though the famous Rolling Stone has given up on alcohol, he won’t be letting go of smokes anytime soon. A friend of Keith Richards had this to say on the matter: “Keith simply can’t start the day without a cigarette. Smoking is now Keith’s one and only vice and he isn’t stopping.” When it becomes a daily ritual, it’s pretty much a done deal… especially if that ritual is a morning one. But Keith Richards seems to have pulled it off until now, why wouldn’t he keep burning his fuse from now on? After all, the legend that is Keith Richards would not be complete if he gave up all of his vices.

Marc Jacobs has a warped sense of humor. Believe it or not, Rolling Stone Keith Richards is the new face of Louis Vuitton. Renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz shot the senior rocker cradling his guitar on a hotel room bed for the brand with the slogan for the ad reading “Some journeys cannot be put into words. New York. 3 am. Blues in C.” Keith’s fronted ads will appear in magazines come April. There’s a subliminal message in having Keith as the model. Mr. Leather Face is representing the leather goods and fashion company. It’s so appropriate and wrong all at the same time!

Keith Richards has warned Amy Winehouse to stay away from drugs.
The Rolling Stones rocker – who has previously battled a heroin addiction – says the troubled ‘Rehab’ singer needs to kick her dangerous habit before it ’s too late. The 64-year-old guitarist, who once infamously joked he had snorted his father’s ashes, said: “She should get her act together.”
The band’s frontman Mick Jagger, who was briefly jailed in 1967 for possessing drugs, has also advised young stars not to follow in the Stones’ notorious footsteps.
Speaking at the Berlin premiere of Rolling Stones documentary ‘Shine a Light ‘, Mick said: “When we were experimenting with drugs, little was known about the effects. In our time there were no rehab centres. Anyway I did not know about them.”
Mick, 64, has previously expressed concern for Amy’s wellbeing saying: “I’m worried she might die if she goes down the road she has taken.”
He’s not the only one…
