Former NSYNC singer JC Chasez is apparently having some money troubles. The state of Mississippi recently filed a lien against the America’s Best Dance Crew judge, accusing him of owing $206,965 in delinquent taxes. Ouch! Doesn’t Justin Timberlake do a lot of charity work? Maybe JC’s former boy band pall could help him out – or not. I guess it’s time for someone to get a real job. Good luck doing that in this crappy economy though. Maybe he could work for Justin as a gardener or something. I know! A caddy! Justin did recently turn one of his extra rooms into a golf course.

It is being rumored that legendary 1960s British rock band, The Who, will be taking the stage at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show. If that does go down, the event will mark the band’s first live performance in the United States in two years. It’s a good choice but I kind of miss the years when they paraded out Britney Spears to sing with Aerosmith and when Justin Timberlake got shamed for undressing Janet Jackson. Don’t get me wrong though, I love The Who. However, this whole G-rated thing doesn’t really peak my interest and I doubt anything newsworthy will happen at the event.

Chris Kirkpartrick recently let it become known that an NSYNC reunion could be on the horizon. The singer said “You never know what the future holds. Anything could happen. We’re all just being ourselves for a little while. I think when the stars are aligned, the time is right, and all five of us have our heads on straight and know the direction we’re going as a band, it’ll eventually happen. If not, I know we’ll be best friends forever.” Why he thinks that Justin Timberlake would be stupid to get back together with his former band mates is beyond me. But then again, he has been making a lot of questionable career choices with not making any new music lately.

Ticketless fans have been warned to stay away from Michael Jackson’s star-studded memorial service amid fears of riots.

Los Angeles police have urged people not to head to the Staples Center in the city’s downtown area for tomorrow’s event unless they are guaranteed entry.

Authorities fear that up to one million fans will descend on the city.

More than 1.6 million people entered a lottery to get tickets, but only 17,500 were successful.

Some tickets were being offered for sale on eBay for as much as $20,000 today.

British Airways said it had a “huge influx” of reservations over the past few days from British people hoping to make their way to the event – at an arena that can accommodate only 20,000.

Local police have been building barriers around the Staples Center.

Los Angeles Police Department Assistant Chief Jim McDonnell said: “Anybody who does not hold proper credentials, tickets to get in to the event, will not be allowed inside the security zone.”

Among the celebrities expected to pay tribute to the so-called King of Pop at the event include Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey and Jennifer Hudson.

Longtime Jacko pal Elizabeth Taylor will reportedly read the eulogy, while other guests may include Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Lionel Richie, Liza Minnelli and Aretha Franklin.

Before the tribute, there will be a private ceremony for family at Forest Lawn cemetery.

On Monday, the Supreme Court ordered a federal appeals court to re-examine its ruling, in favour of CBS over the whole wardrobe malfunction incident from back in 2004 during Super Bowl with Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake. Who knew that a nipple could cause years in court battles? Last year, the decision was put up to the Supreme Court but they’ve just directed it to the Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia in order to consider reinstating the $550,000 fine that the FCC had placed. According to a statement made by a CBS rep, the network is not surprised by the decision and believes that they won’t be found at fault for the incident since they “could not have been anticipated” the nipple slip.
