Despite their reported split in July, Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri seemed quite cozy when they were spotted on Monday while attending the amFAR event in Milan. Are they back together or did they just go there as friends or did they just happen to be at the same place at the same time? Whatever the reason, I hope that the music producer is giving the singer the support she needs after losing her brother, even if just as a friend. At the very least, they did look happy during the event. I hope this can be the start of things going well for Janet.

Apart from their eldest sister Rebbie, Janet Jackson is the only member of the Jackson family who has remained quiet about Michael Jackson’s death. However, the silence is about to be broken. The pop singer has granted a tell-all interview about her thoughts on the late King of Pop with Harper’s Bazaar. A source said “She is giving them the world exclusive and is going to be on the cover.” I think that it’s fine. She’s taken enough time that it’s still relevant of a topic to talk about but not too soon for it to be inappropriate – unlike what other members of her family has done. And thankfully, she’s not making a profit off of her brother’s death.

According to her co-star Malik Yoba, Janet Jackson has returned to working on the latest Tyler Perry movie ‘Why Did I Get Married Too?’. According to Malik, everything seems well with Janet and that she will be tackling a couple of serious scenes on her first day back on the film set. The singer left the set after the sudden death of her brother, the late King of Pop Michael Jackson. Tyler gave the grieving star all the time she needed to recoup, saying “Whenever she comes back to work, she’ll have everything she need.” It’s good to know that Janet is feeling up to it now.

Michael Jackson’s brothers and sisters are planning rehearsals to perform at least one of the late King of Pop’s scheduled shows, according to U.S. reports.

Sisters Janet and LaToya are looking to join the remaining Jackson 5 brothers to perform a tribute on July 13, the day Jacko would have played his first comeback show at London’s O2 arena.

“If all goes well, the Jacksons are looking to fill at least five of the 50 gigs their superstar brother was scheduled to perform on his sold-out comeback series,” a report said.

A family member told the paper: “We might do the 13th or a date in August with Jan and Toya.

“It’ll be good and we’ll do it right for Michael.”

The stars, including brothers Tito, Jermaine, Jackie and Marlon, are putting aside their differences and are working on the choreography to back up songs and dance numbers Michael already worked on.

They are even looking at a world tour after playing at the O2, a family source said.

With the first concert date looming and with Jackson’s memorial-service extravaganza on Tuesday, the famous siblings are racing the clock.

“They’re working on keeping the tour going,” said another family source.

Sources are saying that, after a secret meeting at the Beverly Hills Hotel recently, Michael Jackson made it clear that he will not be performing with Janet and the Jackson 5, even if the organizer will sue him for it. It was earlier reported that Jacko’s manager signed a deal on behalf of the former King of Pop to perform with his family at Cowboy Stadium in Texas in 2010. Part of the deal was to not sign any other concert deal for 18 months but we all know that Jacko signed a deal for his London concerts scheduled to begin in July. Patrick Allocco of AllGood Entertainment recently resubmitted his offer for Jacko to perform. For the one night event, he will get $3 million, Janet $1 million and the brothers $500,000 to split. If Jacko refuses the final offer, AllGood Entertainment will proceed with suing him and his family.

On Monday, the Supreme Court ordered a federal appeals court to re-examine its ruling, in favour of CBS over the whole wardrobe malfunction incident from back in 2004 during Super Bowl with Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake. Who knew that a nipple could cause years in court battles? Last year, the decision was put up to the Supreme Court but they’ve just directed it to the Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia in order to consider reinstating the $550,000 fine that the FCC had placed. According to a statement made by a CBS rep, the network is not surprised by the decision and believes that they won’t be found at fault for the incident since they “could not have been anticipated” the nipple slip.

Janet Jackson has probably joined the list of other star artist to have joined hands with concert giants Live Nation. In September Janet parted ways with Island Records following the disappointing sales of her newest release Discipline and thereafter it has taken her 5 months to find a contract.

If that were to be true then she would joins the likes of Jay-Z, U2 and Shakira and have a contract on the lines of what these top selling artist have. As and when the deal goes through Live Nation will take care of not only her album release but even plan her concerts.

There are reports that with Live Nation at the helm Janet has already started working targeting to create a fresh album as her follow to the 2008 blunder. She has reunited with her mentor, producer Jimmy Jam and is hoping to hit the bull’s eye with her next release.

Between my friends and me we think that the Discipline album was a good one but we also believe that as a singer she does not have much to offer and her career has peaked out.

Janet Jackson is being lame again and has decided to postpone five February concerts in Japan. What, is she sick again? Apparently, the former chart topper has cited the global economic crisis as the reason for the postponement. Her camp is scheduled to announce the rescheduled dates in March. If the economy was such a big problem, I doubt Madonna would still be touring considering how huge her shows are. I bet no one bought tickets for Japan either. As most of you know, Janet canceled seven shows in her US tour. I won’t hold my breath that she’s going to reschedule those Japan shows.

I always believe that paparazzi do nonsense but when they have some insider news then they are amongst the most reliable people. Well the same goes for those tabloid reports and the latest is that Janet Jackson has split up with her long-term record producer boyfriend Jermaine Dupri. The 2 have been an item for four long years (Hollywood standards of course) and till recently it was being rumored that they were planning to marry and start a family together.

When a lady’s career is in danger of skidding, an appearance in Playboy is sometimes helpful. Well do not forget she did that wonderful stunt baring her breast on stage while performing alongside Justin Timberlake.

So she is a pretty good strategist and might have figured out well that being with Jermaine no longer created the kind of curiosity amongst the few left over fans that she has. She surely figured out that she needs to do something quickly or else she will be a goner.

Here’s a little lesson for you amateurs, if your concert tour in the US doesn’t take off as you have hope, then you should take it overseas!
Janet Jackson, who was forced to cancel 7 of her US tour dates because of an ‘illness’ is reportedly scheduling a huge concert in JAPAN.
We can all remember that her concerts were not rescheduled due to schedule conflicts, so why the hell is she touring in JAPAN?
The reports say that Miss Jackson is set to first tour of Japan in seven years in February of 09.
She’ll do four dates in the country between February 14th and 22nd.
$$$$$$ talks!
Janet was having difficulty filling arenas in America. She’s hoping she’ll have better luck in Japan!
