The Glitter saga continues as pedophile Gary Glitter has no choice but to go home. The glam rocker was released last week from a Vietnamese prison and was en route to England via Thailand. However, he refused to go on a connecting flight in Thailand and instead went on a flight to Hong Kong despite proclamations from the Chinese government that he would not be allowed entry to the country. A report says that once Glitter arrived in Hong Kong, Chinese immigration officials refused him entry and sent him back to Thailand. He doesn’t have a choice anymore but to face the scorn of his countrymen.

Gary Glitter plans to resurrect his music career when he is released from a Vietnamese prison.
Speaking to local newspaper Cong An Nhan Dan (which means ‘People’s Public Security’), he said: “I have an incomplete album that I want to finish. I have been thinking about the plan during my days in jail. I have sung rock & roll for 40 years. After jail, I will continue to rock & roll.”
He has no intention of returning to his native Britain, however, saying, “I will contact my friends and lawyers to decide where is the best place to live, but probably Hong Kong or Singapore.”
The star, who’s hits include ‘Leader of the Gang’, ‘Do You Wanna Touch Me?’ and ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Pts 1 & 2′ was sentenced to three years in prison in 2006 for committing “obscene acts with children”, who were aged 11 and 12, but has had three months cut from his sentence for good behaviour.
In 2002 he was expelled from Cambodia, although no charges were formally laid against him and in 1999 he served four months in prison in Britain for possession of child pornography.
