Erykah Badu Makes it to Gig Despite of Stalker

Most singers miss performances because of the lame exhaustion excuse. Don’t count Erykah Badu amongst them though. Despite being barricaded in her home by an alleged stalker, the singer still made a SXSW gig in Austin. Erykah used the all powerful Twitter to update her fans saying “Police just apprehended a stalker in front of my house. Stay tuned to details.” She went on to say that the woman had been outside of her home multiple times and had “several misc. items spread out in the grass. Blue shutters, a rabbit, a tucan and a sketch book.” The lady was “pepper sprayed and cuffed” by cops. Erykah ended up getting late to her gig because of the police report that she had to fill out.
