Aside from gushing over Jessica Simpson, Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan also had some interesting things to say to Rolling Stone magazine about the new Hole album. The rock star collaborated with Courtney Love on the upcoming ‘Nobody’s Daughter’ record but he says that he never gave Courtney the ok to release the tracks. Billy said “It would be a real big problem, because I haven’t given my permission. I have no interest in supporting her in any way, shape or form. You can’t throw enough things down the abyss with a person like that.” I can’t wait to have my head hurt in attempting to understand whatever Courtney’s response to that will be. Oh joy.

It looks like Courtney Love’s maternal instincts have really taken hold of her. She apparently wanted to buy her daughter, Frances Bean, her own house for Christmas. This is what Courtney Love related on the matter: “At Christmas time I bought her a house. And it took everything – I had to go to somebody else and get them to finance the house, because they’d frozen my account. And I was gonna blindfold her, put her in her house and go on the road – goodbye! That’s it. So, there’s no argument. She wasn’t very happy living with me, that’s OK she’s 17. Lenny Kravitz’s daughter has her own apartment at sixteen, it’s fine. As long as it’s around the corner from me and I can have some supervision, it’s fine.” Of course it’s fine! What more could Frances Bean want than to have her mother spying on her twenty-four-seven? But Courtney Love is too good to do something like that… that’s something crazy people would do.

Courtney Love may no longer have her Twitter but she’s still got her Facebook to go off on her whacked out rants. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that she still doesn’t make any sense. This time, the rock singer is slamming her ex Edward Norton for mishandling the finances of Kurt Cobain’s sister. Please do keep in mind that they’re relationship ended over 10 years ago. I’m not even going to post even just a bit of what she wrote because I don’t want to cause any readers any harm than she’s already given them. Apart from that, she also goes on about Britney Spears – in the same post. Courtney claims that the pop star’s dad molested her. What the heck? I think she just randomly pressed on the keyboard until all of that crap came out on screen.

Courtney Love is going to be releasing a new album, ‘Nobody’s Daughter’, in January. This will mark the rock star’s first album since 2004’s ‘America’s Sweetheart’. The singer is going back to her roots though as she will release it under her old band’s name, Hole. The band hasn’t had an album out since 1998’s ‘Celebrity Skin’ and the new band includes Courtney and guitarist Micko Larkin. She said “Wherever I lay my head is Hole. It’s four letters. It is one of the best band names in fucking history, if I do say so myself. For a while I was a little embarrassed it was maybe vulgar, but at least it’s not phallic. It’s H-O-L-E, it’s a great band name, and it’s mine.” The new album was also said to be influenced by David Bowie, Pink Floyd and 80s goth, with underlying themes of greed, vengeance and feminism.

Courtney Love recently launched a Twitter war by incessantly blabbing about ‘Gossip Girl’ actress Taylor Momsen playing crappy pop and The Veronicas wearing her clothes. Now, the rock singer wants to set the record straight. She really doesn’t care much for Taylor but as far as the feud with The Veronicas go, Courtney said that they were literally wearing her clothes. In a recent interview, she said “I personally Twittered them, about these four dresses from a vendor on Etsy, who had stolen some dresses from me. And I asked them to not physically wear these physical dresses. That’s totally different. And they made those private Twits public. And it made the Australian national news, someone told me.”
