I wonder what Debbie Harry makes of her portrait now that Guns n’ Roses guitarist Slash has made his alterations…
The portrait hangs in a corridor at Virgin Radio’s London HQ. During a visit from the rocker, the Blondie singer had her very own makeover of sorts; involving a moustache, black eye and goatee beard.
A source revealed: “Slash was in the studio being interviewed. Out of the blue he asked if anyone had a marker pen. A few minutes later he said he needed to pop to the loo. He then walked over to the painting as a runner walked past and turned to him and mouthed, ‘Shhh!’”
Even better, the radio bosses are so tickled by the act they have decided to leave the picture up. Breakfast Show DJ Christian O’Connell said: “We’re not going to bother replacing the painting. It’s a great story to tell visitors.”
I’m sure it’s nothing personal Debbie…

The ex-manager of the group Blondie is claiming that his former charges and its record label owes him some money after all these years. Pete Leeds claims that they changed the way they pay him, cheating him out of a bundle of cash. And he says that he wants his due.
In papers filed in New York Supreme Court, Leeds says that after 28 years, Deborah Harry and the rest of the band are taking out more money before they pay him than they used to and won’t even show him how they’re calculating the new royalty scheme. Leeds is suing for breach of contract and interference with the 1979 contract.

Blondie singer Deborah Harry has condemned the popularity of reality TV shows, insisting music moguls are giving youngsters false hope. The 63-year-old star accuses show producers, like American Idol judge Simon Cowell, of encouraging talentless youngsters and wrongly promising them a career in the music industry. I know this is wrong and it is like playing with the careers of young minds all who think that these busted up so called celebs can make them famous too and they can have all the luxuries that they command and can fulfill all their dreams. But on the other side if contestants reach to the audition round of the reality contest then there has to be some potential in them to have made it so far. I think on the flip side of things, Deborah is the one who is out of tunes with today’s times, things have changed and there are far greater opportunities for young aspirants today than ever.

Singer Debbie Harry is glad she shunned marriage in favor of a more “exotic” life. The Blondie star has had relationships with both men and women throughout the years but never married, believing the institution needed a revamp. Bisexual woman is only a glamorous pervert, she has sex with all. Regarding title names, even a bisexual when doing sex with the same gender is still only homosexual sex in truth! The thing is that she wants to tell that she is enjoying staying single but what she doesn’t mention is that what she is doing staying single. That’s for all of us to understand that a successful singer will enjoy a sex life no matter how pervert she is, I am not the one whose going to single her out of the bunch of single men and women who have sex with both males and females that’s sort become acceptable today, but if she lives an ‘exotic’ then why tell us about it, go have fun and learn to shut up about it.
