Elvis Presley’s hair being auctioned

The locks the legendary singer lost when he joined the US Army will be sold by auction in the near future. It seems that the auctioneers are hoping for at least 19000 dollars for Elvis Presley’s hair, even though there are probably people who would pay much more for it. Actually, this will be part of a larger sale of memorabilia from Elvis Presley, memorabilia currently owned by his close friend Gary Pepper. Nothing like having a little stuff left over from old and very famous friends, eh? Imagine what the hair of the guys from Black Sabbath must be worth now… if anybody was inspired enough to keep it.

Ozzy Osbourne sues Tony Iommi

The former front man from Black Sabbath has recently filled a lawsuit against the guitarist for seizing the rights to the band’s name and all the merchandising that follows. Ozzy Osbourne said the following about his drastic actions: “Tony, I am so sorry it’s had to get to this point by me having to take this action against you, we’ve all worked too hard and long in our careers to allow you to sell merchandise that features all our faces, old Black Sabbath album covers and band logos, and then you tell us that you own the copyright.” Rightly so! Ozzy Osbourne was dead center on this one… after all, Black Sabbath is like a familly business to him and the rest of the band and it is only fair that they get their fair share of the bounty.
