The series that proves great music knows no boundaries returns, bringing together multiple Grammy winners, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and Trisha Yearwood. Known for his smooth voice and prolific songwriting, Edmonds joins country superstar Yearwood for a magical evening that was taped before an invitation only audience in Nashville. This should be a great show. Every episode I have seen on Crossroads has been really good to much my surprise. More than the show what really intrigues me is that two or more good musicians who can put down their egos and perform on the same platform/stage and create music for an audience that appreciates good music. Music that is played by some of our rappers and Rock stars is so pathetic that I rather puke of a $100 on something rubbish rather than buy their music and curse myself on the choice I have made on the music.

Soul star Babyface has recalled the moment he had to tell his kids that he and their mother were separating in a touching new tune. The singer - real name Kenneth Edmonds - has dedicated Not Going Nowhere to the two children he fathered with his ex-wife Tracey, who is now romancing funnyman Eddie Murphy. In the new song, Edmonds sings, “I’m still best of friends with your mom/Have no doubt that we’ll still make time to hang out/I promise I won’t let you down.” I can never understand that why do children have to go through the agony and pain at the separation for their parents. Why people reconcile and live together, why does there have to be a bitter custody battle for the kids we have given birth to? There’s always a reason but at times there’s not an answer – why, coz we have become so intolerant that we cannot wait for things to fall in place we make quick decisions and move on with life without giving anything a chance.
