In preparation for her third album, Amy Winehouse has tagged up with producer Mark Ronson, whose only real international success came when he produced the troubled singer’s ‘Back to Black’ album. This could be a good start because I don’t completely trust her on her own. And although they had a falling out over her drug habit, they have reconciled. A source said “I was talking to Mark about Amy. He thinks she’s getting better and they are working together and will start recording soon. Everything he does is awesome.” Let’s all hope that this source has all his facts right.

A barman to the stars will publish a tell-all memoir about the celebrities he has met on the island of Mustique.

“My book will shock the high society of Mustique as it will tell the truth about celebrities at play,” said Basil Charles, 62, who is also known as The King of Mustique. Charles has served drinks to the likes of the Beckhams, Mick Jagger, Amy Winehouse, Kate Moss and Princess Margaret.

He says he has no fear about breaking the island’s famous code of silence. “There will be revelations in the book, some of them shocking, but I’m not afraid to write it. Why should I be?” he said.

Amy Winehouse’s ex must be really hard up for money because Blake Fielder-Civil will sell stories about the singer as long as someone will even care enough to listen. His latest tale is that, apparently, he and Wino were partying it up a few years ago with good pal and fellow drug fiend Kate Moss. The model must have been completely loaded because Wino was said to be able to steal a bit of the good stuff from Kate’s purse for her and Blake to snort without Kate noticing a thing. If you ask me, it doesn’t really sound too far off for it to have actually happened. I just don’t think it’s relevant at this time.

The singer has recently signed a deal to use images and lyrics from her “Back to Black” album in order to make greeting cards. A source revealed the following about Amy Winehouse’s new business endeavor: “The bosses at EMI are keen to keep the cash cow churning out the money. The first item in the Winehouse range will be wrapping paper with the chorus of ‘Rehab’ emblazoned all over it. The Amy-branded cards are classy too. ‘You Know I’m No Good’ is best for heartfelt apologies and ‘Back To Black,’ with an appropriate wreath, will be the respectful response to a bereavement.” This so-called source must’ve been a publicity advisor for Amy Winehouse. Watch as the fiend neatly conceals his intentions under the cloak of apparent sarcasm!

It seems that the singer’s empathy grows with each new sunrise. The latest of Amy Winehouse’s projects for the future will be volunteering for the African Impact Medical Assistance, a charity project in St. Lucia which will see Amy Winehouse caring for sick people and preparing meals. A source close to the singer said the following about Amy Winehouse’s new bid on empathy: “Amy has always been very giving and she has fallen in love with the people in St Lucia. She now wants to do everything she can to make the islanders healthier and happier.” It seems that mother hen thing might have not been so far from the truth after all. Or maybe it’s just a way to pass the time and stay away from the booze a little longer.

Amy Winehouse could be dead within three months after developing emphysema.

The ‘Rehab’ singer – who was admitted to hospital after collapsing at her home last week – has been warned she must quit drugs or face using a wheelchair and oxygen supplies to help her breathe as the deadly lung condition worsens.

Amy’s father Mitch said: “To think this could be my beautiful 24-year-old daughter’s life is preposterous. But if drugs mean more to her than breathing properly, then so be it. The doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs it won’t just ruin her voice, it will kill her. It’s in its early stage but had it gone on for another month they painted a very vivid picture of her sitting there with a mask on her face struggling to breathe.”

Emphysema eats away at lungs leaving sufferers breathless and frail. Despite doctors’ warnings Amy is still determined to perform at Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday concert in London’s Hyde Park on Friday and the Glastonbury music festival on Saturday.

A special St John’s Ambulance crew will be on permanent standby for the star on Friday. Concert organizers are also refusing her request for alcohol in her rider, and her backstage area will feature a private hospital suite.

Universal records has given Amy Winehouse an ultimatum – either she quit the drugs or else she will not have her new record released. No record release means no money for drugs. The label made a similar threat earlier this year to get Wino into rehab after pictures and a video of her smoking crack surfaced. An insider says that Universal have stepped up again saying “Amy has been reminded of her responsibilities. Unless she is clean she will not be allowed to release another album.” Let’s hope this ultimatum will shake Amy straight though I’m not betting on it especially if Blake gets out of prison early.

Keith Richards warns Amy Winehouse

Keith Richards has warned Amy Winehouse to stay away from drugs.

The Rolling Stones rocker – who has previously battled a heroin addiction – says the troubled ‘Rehab’ singer needs to kick her dangerous habit before it ’s too late. The 64-year-old guitarist, who once infamously joked he had snorted his father’s ashes, said: “She should get her act together.”

The band’s frontman Mick Jagger, who was briefly jailed in 1967 for possessing drugs, has also advised young stars not to follow in the Stones’ notorious footsteps.

Speaking at the Berlin premiere of Rolling Stones documentary ‘Shine a Light ‘, Mick said: “When we were experimenting with drugs, little was known about the effects. In our time there were no rehab centres. Anyway I did not know about them.”

Mick, 64, has previously expressed concern for Amy’s wellbeing saying: “I’m worried she might die if she goes down the road she has taken.”

He’s not the only one…

Amy Winehouse must be feeling popular. She has been asked to perform at this years Brit awards – not once, but twice.

She will perform ‘Valerie’ as part of a Mark Ronson medley where Adele and Daniel Merriweather will also take turns to sing with the producer. The lights will then go down and the audience will think that Amy’s show is over.

But the Brit organisers have cleared another spot in the schedule for our troubled singer. The lights will come back up and she will perform a stripped down version of one of her other hits.

A source said: “Amy will be part of the Ronson medley, but she will also do something on her own. Along with Macca she is the night’s big attraction. The lights will come back up and she will sing one of her more emotive hits. It will be a magical moment.”
