The late pop legend apparently won four awards out of the five he was nominated for at the prestigious music event. His brother, Jermaine Jackson was there to accept the awards on behalf of Michael Jackson. This is what Jermaine Jackson said on the occasion: “It’s not just about the winnings, the awards. It’s mainly the message. The message Michael had will live on forever. He saw good in everyone. Start with love and let’s love each other.” Yeah, there must be a whole lot of love in that family of theirs… surely this extremely human side of Michael Jackson he inherits from his father. What a noble and righteous man!

The comeback is assured! Not only is Whitney Houston back in the public eye, releasing a new record and being surrounded by controversy, but now she will also be performing at the American Music Awards as a special honoree. The event’s producer, Larry Klein, said the following about Whitney Houston getting back on their stage: “We’re honored to have Whitney Houston back on the AMA stage after 10 years. She has won the most AMAs of any female artist in history and is without a doubt an international superstar so it’s only fitting we honor her with the International Artist Award this year at such an important time in her career.” But their not going to be giving her any more awards right? Of course not… enough is too much, already! Leave a few morsels for the other under evolved species, will you please?
