Kanye West finally got dethroned but not by 50 Cent. He got booted off the top by none other than country singer Reba McEntire.
Reba’s new duets album ‘Reba Duet’s is the number one album in America this week. The country crooner’s new album sold more than 300,000 units in the first week of its release. It’s a sale more than double Reba’s previous first-week sales high of 124,000 with the album ‘It’s Your Call’ released back in 1992.
Congrats to Reba. Congrats to Kelly Clarkson too. This is the closest she’s going to get at having a number one record in a good while.

Rap star Kanye West has beaten rival 50 Cent in their head-to-head battle to claim the UK’s best-selling album. The rappers entered the chart at numbers one and two respectively, while West’s single Stronger stayed ahead of 50 Cent’s song Ayo Technology. 50 Cent vowed that he would retire from making solo albums if outsold by West. I bet ya, this guy is not going to retire or anything, he will eat up his words, fall back and say he never meant to retire and will not accept defeat. These characteristics are what make him so hated; he got a big mouth and an empty heart and soul. He’s already started blaming his record company for not supporting him in promoting the album. He should simply retire and keep his words for once. Wait till the US charts are announced, then have a look at 50 Cent’s face, can’t say more than this coz it’s the one for the paparazzi to collect and showing weeping and sobbing like a kid whose been deprived of a lollipop.
