Ricky Martin Does Good

Ricky Martin has partnered up with German broadcaster RTL on a telecast last week to raise some money for a youth center in Puerto Rico. The singer spoke about the philanthropic Ricky Martin Foundation, saying “The idea is to build a centre, a safe haven for children that are at risk of exploitation, which is the main mission of my foundation.” The center will accommodate 150 children and offer activities like art classes, meditation, martial arts and yoga. They are aiming for it to be up and running by next year. Ricky added “It’s just to show them another aspect of life they don’t know because of the way that they live. We need to show them the beauty of having a dignified life.”
