Aretha Franklin is a diva and she isn’t afraid to show it! The legendary singer allegedly pulled some diva shit before her performance at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s 25th anniversary. The soul siren demanded that the air conditioning be shut off hours before she was supposed to take the stage at NYC’s Madison Square Garden. Aretha left a string of angry voicemails to the promoters, threatening to cancel if her demands weren’t met. In one message, Aretha is heard saying “I am sorry that it is going down this way, but that’s the way it’s going down.” Of course, her demands were met and the show went on according to plan.
