Andrew Lloyd Webber Battles Cancer

Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber is currently undergoing treatment for prostate cancer, as confirmed by his spokesperson. His rep said “The condition is in its very early stages. Andrew is now undergoing treatment and expects to be fully back at work before the end of the year.” Just in case you lived on a different planet for the last couple of decades and didn’t know who he is, the 61-year old composed many of the great musicals including ‘Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’, ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’, ‘Evita’, ‘Cats’, ‘The Phantom of The Opera’ and the ‘Phantom’ sequel, ‘Love Never Dies’ (to open in London’s West End in March and on Broadway in November). I hope he gets better soon.
