A-HA Splits

If I had an electrical keyboard, I’d be trying hard on jamming out the opening tinkering melody of the song ‘Take on Me’, the only real major hit from the Norwegian band A-HA. I wouldn’t be playing it for no reason at all but as a homage to the news that after 25 years together, the band has decided to finally split up. The trio of musicians stated that the breakup was amicable and that they each just wanted to pursue “other meaningful aspects of life, be it humanitarian work, politics, or whatever else.” After years of not having a hit, I would have expected the split to have been sooner.
