Take That’s Howard Donald planning to DJ

Take That star Howard Donald is planning to DJ following the end of the band’s Circus tour.
Donald, 41, will be playing a set at the Gatecrasher club in Birmingham on August 8, and it is claimed bosses are concerned the star could be mobbed by fans at the 3,000-capacity venue.
He said: “It would have been easy to cash in on the Take That thing and tour all the commercial clubs, but that would go against everything I stand for.
“Music is my life, I love nothing more than playing house music to an appreciative crowd. To sell yourself out for commercial value as a DJ simply makes you look cheap and definitely shortens your shelflife.”
