VH1 Adds Some Spice

The network which is seemingly obsessed with giving has-beens their own shows is doing the same for two female hip hop artists. VH1 is giving Sandra ‘Pepa’ Denton of Salt n Pepa and Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas from TLC each their own reality shows. Both shows are scheduled to premiere in 2010 and have orders in for 8 half-hour episodes. Though separate shows, both will follow each singer in search of love and romance just like most VH1 shows do. I guess the execs realized that they were neglecting a certain demographic when they decided to give Jessica Simpson her own reality show ‘The Price of Beauty’.
