Eddie Van Halen is somehow under the impression that he still matters. Nike launched a new line of sneakers sporting a red, white and black pattern that the rocker claims is his trademark design. Eddie’s company ELVH Inc filed a lawsuit recently citing copyright infringement, in which they are seeking monetary retribution and “the impoundment and destruction of all footwear.” Well that’s a little extreme. His line of sneakers looked nothing like the recent Nikes. And the combination of red, white and black aren’t even tagged to Van Halen anymore. This generation would likely attribute it more to The White Stripes. Eddie needs to get a clue.
