Etta James Lawsuit

Etta James is being sued by a guy who says that she hired him to be in her band and then went back on her word and caused him to lose a lot of money. Leo Nocentelli claims that he and the iconic singer reached an oral agreement in February of 2008 for him to play guitar on her tour which was set to last from March 2008 to March 2009. After playing a couple of shows with Etta, she became ill and was forced to cancel some of her dates. Leo says she forgot to tell him about the cancellation. According to the lawsuit, once Etta was healthy enough to perform again in August 2008, she brought back all the band members except him. Leo is suing for at least $50,000 for breach of contract.
