Penny Lancaster has revealed she is trying for a second baby with hubby Rod Stewart.
The 38-year-old model already has a three-year-old son, Alistair, with singer Rod, 64, and admitted they would like another baby.
She said: “I think touring and running around interferes with things, but we’re still trying and we have high hopes. Once you get over 35, it does take a little longer, but it’s worth persevering.”
Penny suffered two miscarriages before Alistair was born in 2005. Rod already has five other children, apart from Alistair, from previous relationships.
Penny also revealed their young son recently introduced Rod’s daughter Ruby when she joined him on stage at a gig in Tokyo.
She said: “Alistair got up on stage in Tokyo and introduced his sister, who was supporting Rod on his tour.”
She added to British newspaper the Sunday Mirror: “He said: ‘Hello Tokyo… please welcome on stage my sister Ruby,’ and everyone went crazy. Alistair doesn’t usually get to see his dad perform, but the show was at 5pm, so he did this time.”
