ZZ Top Founding Member Dies

Rocky Hill, one of the founding members of bearded rock giants ZZ Top passed away last Friday. Rocky was the brains behind the band’s 1983 hit ‘Legs’ as well as many other songs from the legendary group’s catalog. Sadly, Dusty Hill, brother of Rocky and current guitarist for the band had cut off contact with his brother due to feelings of ill will between Rocky and Dusty’s wife. Dusty actually ended up disowning his brother at the height of their arguments. The brothers never reunited face to face before Rocky passed away. Dusty did have plans to attend his brother’s memorial service in Texas.
