Lionel Richie feared sex appeal end
Pop star Lionel Richie, who is Nicole Richie’s father felt his sex appeal was in danger of being wiped out when he received the news of his daughter was expecting. Now Nicole’s daughter Harlow is 14 months old but Lionel was hesitant to add the tag of grandfather to the name of a pop singer.
Speaking on the subject to British tabloid the Daily Record Lionel says, “I went through a panic – that’s the end of my career. But I’m having more fun now with the responsibility of being a grandpa – that is, playing with the baby and handing her back.”
That’s where a lot of middle aged father’s are caught thinking about own age, like are they too old and does the grandfather status gel in with their own thinking about themselves. The thought is that the age to be a grandfather is 65+. But hey you leave your daughters to fling around so they are going to come around sooner than later with kids for you to change diapers during free time.
