Bob Geldof’s spider bitte

The singer has recently admitted that he is still bothered by a bite he had from a spider some years back. Bob Geldof said: “I got bitten near my left eye by a spider about two years ago when I was on a trip to Africa and now it puffs up once or twice a month.” It puffs up? What does Bob Geldof mean by that? It mutates every now and again? Perhaps we are witnessing the birth of a new spider-man over here. Whatever the case, hopefully this will not spark yet another franchise… the previous one barely cooled down a bit.
