Obama Stunned by Etta James

Beyonce might be staying silent about Etta James’ wacked out verbal slap but Barack and Michelle Obama were apparently taken more than a little aback. A White House insider told the Chicago Sun-Times that the First Couple was stunned by the 71-year old singer’s remarks against Beyonce. The insider said “It never crossed anyone’s mind that there was anything inappropriate about Beyonce singing that song.” Worse yet, the source added “I’m sure some of the younger people involved didn’t even know she is alive!” That has to be worse than being told you have no business singing someone else’s song.

I love Adrien Brody I think he is a fantastic actor, his work in the Piano was great, I am excited to see some of his new films. I am looking forward to seeing the Brother’s Bloom.
I was just as astounded by her behavior as well, I’ve always known Etta James to be one classy lady. (maybe a little sassy) but that night, she was very much out of character.
