The Osbournes Win

If you mess with Sharon Osbourne, prepare to lose badly. Back in October 2007, Sharon sued UK’s The Sun newspaper as she was very upset that they published a false story accusing her of overworking her rocker hubby Ozzy. The story claimed that she was “driving her frail husband Ozzy Osbourne to destruction.” Sharon fought back arguing that the allegations were “extremely distressing, hurtful and damaging.” Sharon has just won the case against the paper and they have agreed to pay undisclosed damages and legal costs. The Sun has since sincerely apologized and have accepted the claims to be untrue.
