Michael Jackson to give Beatles songs to Paul McCartney
According to reports Michael Jackson intends to end the long standing feud with music legend Paul McCartney by leaving him the Beatles back catalogue in his will. Wow man is this a lightening blot without a thunder storm where a twenty feud is being resolved between two giants of the music industry or just a joke.
In 1982 the Beatles and Michael Jackson collaborated on the single The Girl is Mine but thereafter the former pals split up when Michael Jackson beat John Lennon’s widow, Yoko Ono& McCartney to land the rights to 200 of the Fab Four’s hits.
Perhaps Michael got word first that they were for sale, or was earnest with his money there quicker. GOOD, Michael finally realizes how this has hurt Paul. Hope they can call a truce for the music and their friendship. Everyone needs friends and few have the fame in music that these greats have experienced, so they do have common strengths.
