Pay Up Prince
November 17th, 2008 by Hannah

Video editor Ian C. Lewis sued Prince and his company, Paisley Park Enterprises for the amount of $1,000,000 in exemplary damages. Apparently, Lewis says that Prince never paid him for editing work and never returned some of his equipment. Last month, a trial was held that included a testimony from Lewis saying that he deserved to be paid. However, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge issued an order last week that Prince would only have to pay about $58,000. Lewis had also claimed that Prince and his company broke a $25,000 computer but the judge denied the claim since no receipts were provided.
