No Hollywood Star for Led Zeppelin

According to some reports, a hardcore fan of Led Zeppelin wrote to each surviving band member to request permission to nominate the band for a Hollywood Walk of Fame star. However, guitarist Jimmy Page kindly pressed the fan to not go on with his idea. The musician’s rep reportedly said “He (Page) has asked me to thank you for this interest but he does not feel that this is something that he can endorse.” I can see why the legendary rocker doesn’t want the star. While it’s great and all, I doubt he wants to deal with all the cheesy stuff that goes around as he gets presented with one.
