Lennon Assassin Up for Parole

I don’t know how I should feel about a legal system that treats murderers well in jail. John Lennon’s crazy killer is one of those people living a pretty good life in jail. He’s been enjoying conjugal visits with his wife for the past 16 years. Mark David Chapman killed the iconic Beatle back in December of 1980 and has since been serving time in the Attica Correctional Facility. Chapman was actually up for parole for the fifth time last week. He’s been denied four times since he became eligible back in 2000. Yoko Ono had submitted a letter in 2000 stating she feared for her safety, for Lennon’s kids’ safety and even for Chapman’s safety if he was released. 8 years later and Yoko says that her position has not changed.

No repeat performances. Is there any assurance that the man is now a healthy well balanced individual, don’t think so. Yoko Ono and her family should have peace of mind knowing this man is where he cannot hurt anyone else. He may be a sick man and that is sad, sadder still would be for John’s family to keep paying with their emotional well being.
Yoko and Sean and the rest of the Lennon family should feel safe everyday, and If this no good piece of nothing is released from jail, he may want revenge or you name it. He shot John Winston Lennon. People need to understand that. I cry myself to sleep sometimes thinking of John Lennon’s death. I hope with my life that chapman stays in prison. John Lennon did not deserve to die under ANY circumstances. I am one huuuge Beatles fan, and If I ever see chapman released from jail I wouldn’t know what to do.
