Rumors have been going around the internet that MC Hammer has died. Hammer time over?
However, TMZ has learned that MC Hammer, aka Stanley Burrell, is actually still alive. His rep says that someone else with the name of Stanley Burrell died recently and people have just been confusing the two.
Ah yes, the case of mistaken identity. But wait, why does he still have a rep?
Apparently, Hammer is trying to bring his career back by starting up a new website called DanceJam where people can upload videos of themselves dancing to have Hammer critique and rate them. Ugh, why?
