Connick’s Tribute To New Orleans Victims

Musician Harry Connick Jr. has dedicated his next album to the victims of Hurricane Katrina in his hometown of New Orleans. The singer has vowed all proceeds from the LP, entitled My New Orleans, will be donated those who were affected by the hurricane in Louisiana in 2005. That was a major disaster and all the help and good that can be done some 2 years after that calamity is certainly worth for the needy. This goes to show that even the world’s most powerful country cannot help it’s people in quick time and then just think what happens when such similar disasters strike countries who do not have resources to help it’s people. Every dollar that can be donated to the cause will go a long way in helping those who have had to bare the brunt of the hurricane. Life goes on and never stops, in between there are circumstances that are beyond our control therefore anyone who does something for a cause should be appreciated.
