Barry Manilow Lawsuit
September 8th, 2007 by Hannah

Mr. Manilow, how could you?
Liberato Fabro, a tour manager, is suing Barry Manilow, the guy who writes the songs, and his production company, BMPI. He is alleging that after he injured his knee, a $15,000 deal was made to pay his medical bills in lieu of filing a workers’ comp claim.
Fabro worked for 7 years on Manilow’s shows in Vegas and other places, injured his knee in 2005 due to a work-related accident. Then he fell into a depression due to a divorce and was granted permanent time off.
Fabro is now suing Barry and his company for discrimination because of disability and marital status, wrongful termination and fraud.
