Mel B’s Wedding Secret
Whether she’s received child support or not, it turns out Melanie Brown has had spousal support for some time now. The British pop star, who filed a paternity suit against Eddie Murphy, last week, tied the knot June 6 with movie producer Stephen Belafonte in Las Vegas. Her new marriage doesn’t change the fact that Eddie is responsible for his daughter. I wonder if Mr. Stephen Belafonte (real last name is Stansbury) see’s his new wife as a cash cow now that paternity has been established? I give her credit for trying to keep her private life private and not announcing her marriage. Hopefully she will keep it that way. Now that Eddie has himself confirmed that he is the father of the child, Mel can expect a mohoola of child support from Eddie. The fact that she has kept the wedding wrapped up for nearly two months shows that she intended to keep the whole thing a secret it as long as it would have been possible. Hopefully Stephen will take good care of her and her daughter.
