Pete Doherty Does What He’s Told
It’s not really a secret of any kind that Doherty and Kate Moss have had their issues. The most recent thing to come out of their camp is that they are to marry this summer. But isn’t there always a catch in Hollywood? He has to be clean and off of the drugs first. It’s a known fact that he’s a hard drug user. In his recently published diaries he admits to only going to rehab because Kate wanted him to. My instant thought is why? I mean, not to say that the guy shouldn’t get clean, of course he should. But why do it because someone else told you to? I don’t think Kate should be using marriage as a tool to control Pete. If she really loves him, that wouldn’t even matter to her. Her first concern should be his well being and I don’t think manipulating him into cleaning up will really be a method that sticks. He speaks of constant fights and being told to censor his words to the press. Last I checked this was called an unhealthy relationship. Though why am I surprised? The only happily ever afters Hollywood is known for are fiction.
