drew-barrymore-From Charlie’s to Children’s Angel

Superman and Spiderman have done it in their movies all the time but there is certainly need for real life super heroes to help out poor children who are starving. It seems like many celebrities are working hard on their karma these days. Celebrities are now doing more charity work not just by promoting artist paintings or selling their designer clothes to raise money but the latest things by joining UN aided programs. Fund raising programs and gala parties are the show off place for these celebs. Doing the real thing by going to places where people actually need help is what is turning many Hollywood celebrities into UN ambassadors. After the likes of Angelina, Michael Douglas and George Clooney, Drew Barrymore has been appointed as Ambassador Against Hunger by United Nations World Food Programme. The 32-year old star of Charlie’s Angel, will be adding to her movie schedule some school feeding programmes in underprivileged countries. It seems our bad girl of the past is all ready to move on to noble issues.
