June 7th, 2007 by Hannah

Actor Sharon Stone’s famous led-crossing scene in the movie Basic Instinct has been voted as Britain’s most paused TV moment. The scene is today synonymous with Sharon Stone and Sharon also stared in the 2nd movie of the same name in what was a sequel. The scene beat Geof Hurst’s controversial goal in the 1966 Soccer World Cup and won a fifth of all voted in the poll. Really some scenes become iconic and remain at the top of the most memorable scenes decades after they were first seen on screen. There have been really many hot scenes in the movies but what really makes this one special is that the impact it was able to create with movie buffs.
